God the Father:
1. We believe there is only one true and living God, the God of the Bible:
a. Genesis 1:1-31, Exodus 20:2.

2. We believe God is all knowing, all powerful and omnipresent, eternal (not restricted by time):
a. Psalm 139:7-12, Isaiah 57:15

3. We believe that God is just and holy and cannot stand evil or sin
a. Holy: Leviticus 11:44, Isaiah 6:3, Revelation 4:8 and 15
b. Just: Deuteronomy 10:17-18, Revelation 19:2

Jesus the Son:
1. We believe Jesus is God’s son, born of a virgin and part of the holy trinity
a. Matthew 1:18-25, John 1:1-18

2. We believe he lived a perfect life without sin, the only person to have ever done this:
a. 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Peter 2:22, 1 John 3:5

3. We believe he purposefully died, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later: And that his death atoned all of our sins
a. John 19:28-20:10, Luke 23:44-24:35, Mark 10:32-34

4. We believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven and a right relationship with God:
a. John 14:6

Holy Spirit and Holy Trinity:
1. Third part of the trinity. God’s presence in us. Also known as the helper:
a. Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4 and 5, Acts 2:1-4.

2. The trinity consists of God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit. Each having its own unique function but all work together as one true God.
a. John 1:1-18

3. The Holy Spirit gives us guidance and knowledge for how to live correctly:
a. Galatians 5:22-24, Romans 8:26

4. We receive the Holy Spirit when we accept Jesus as our savior. He is the proof or mark of our salvation:
a. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22

1. We believe God has given us the ability to speak with HIM through prayer:
a. Philippians 4:6-7, Psalm 40:1

2. That prayer is a time for us to confess sin, praise God, ask for help for ourselves and others, and thank God for what he has done for us:
a. Matthew 6:5-15

3. We believe God hears all prayers but answers the prayers of the believing saints according to HIS will.
a. James 5:16, Matthew 7:7-8, 1 John 5:14-15

The Bible:
1. We believe the Bible is a Holy Book. It is the inspired and inerrant Word of God:
a. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

2. We believe that the Bible is first and foremost about God and His glory, but it is secondly our manual for life. Its gives us guidance and teaching about God and HIS plan.
a. 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 119:105

3. We believe there are no mistakes in the Bible. We believe all historical accounts and teachings are true:
a. Revelation 22:18-19

Humans and Human Nature:
1. We believe that all humans are born sinners due to the original sin of Adam:
a. Romans 3:23, Genesis 3, Romans 5:12-14

2. We believe it is our nature to sin, not to do good:
a. Romans 3:1-20

3. We believe both men and women from every nation are equal in the sight of God:
a. Romans 9:24-26, Romans 10:9-13

4. The reason people don’t ask Jesus for forgiveness is that they love their sin too much:
a. John 3:19-21, Romans 1: 18-32

1. We believe that man was not created to be alone. Thus we gather together:
a. Genesis 2:18, Acts 2:42-47

2. We gather together to worship God, to learn from HIS Word, to encourage, challenge and spend time with other believers and to reach out to the community and the world:
a. Acts 2:42-47

Life after Death:
1. We believe that all people will one day die and afterward they will be judged:
a. Hebrews 9:27, 2 Corinthians 5:10

2. We believe those who know Jesus as their savior will live in heaven with HIM for eternity:
a. We believe Heaven is a perfect place of joy with God: Luke 23:43, Revelation 21:1-7, Revelation 21:9-27

3. We believe those who don’t know Jesus as their savior will spend eternity in Hell:
a. We believe Hell is an eternity of fire, regret, torture, sadness and darkness: Revelation 21:8, Luke 16:22-23, 2 Peter 2:4

The World and Satan:
1. We believe that God created the World in perfection but is now fallen and cursed because of man’s sin and rebellion:
a. Genesis 1:31, Genesis 3

2. We believe that God allows Satan to influence the world for a period of time:
a. John 14:30-31, 1 John 5:19, Ephesians 6:12

3. We believe one day this World will end and God will restore all things to perfection for faithful believers:
a. Revelation 21:1-8 and 22-27

1. We believe that there is nothing we can do through hard work or effort to get to please God:
a. Ephesians 2:8-9

2. We believe that our salvation is an amazing gift of grace from Jesus Christ:
a. 2 Corinthians 5:21, Philippians 2:5-11

3. We do not do good works to gain salvation because salvation is a gift of grace through Jesus alone. Our good works are a result of our changed heart and is evidence of true salvation:
a. James 2:14-26, 1 John 2:3-6

4. This is not sinless perfection but a changed direction and purpose in one’s life:
a. Romans 7:15-25
